Our Calendar and Registration Forms for our 2009 Courses and Events are posted.
We will be offering the NRA Basic Shotgun Instructor Training on June 13th and 14th. Registration forms are now available. The required NRA Certified Instructor Pre-Course Questionnaire has been updated and is now available.
The USMC/NRA Basic Rifle Fundamentals Camp, which was first started at Heritage Shooting, was featured in Traditions magazine (4th Quarter 2008 issue). The article appears on pages 24-25. This program is growing statewide. We are very proud of our role in getting this program running and even more pleased to see other organizations and clubs around the state conducting similar events at their facilities. We hope everyone keeps up the great work!
The Annual NRA Wisconsin State Convention in Eau Claire was awesome. It is great to see the state NRA Association, WI-FORCE gathering steam with a new name (formerly WRPA - Wisconsin Rifle and Pistol Association) and growing the diversity of their support and advocacy to encompass the diversity of the concerns in our state, seeing all the people around the state that are running outstanding programs and sharing ideas, and learning more about range issues and other topics of interest to shooting sports fans. And the really exciting news is the Annual NRA Wisconsin State Convention is coming to the greater Milwaukee area in 2010! If you are interested in helping with this great event or in attending it, please contact us!
Are you interested in volunteering at a Heritage Shooting Event?
We always need additional volunteers! Even if you are not currently an instructor, we can use your help! If you believe in the importance of the Second Amendment, have the desire to help more people learn about and experience their Second Amendment rights, and are willing to volunteer some time, we want you! We are actively committed to training our volunteers as well as the general public. Contact us if you can help.
